FIND AND REPLACE

Find a string of text in the MIVA Merchant product descriptions and replace it with a different string of text. This admin module quickly steps through each record in your store's database and makes the find and replacement. The user can choose either case sensitive or case insensitive. In Merchant 5x, you can also do the find and replace in the name, sku, thumbnail, and full size image fields.

A list of product records containing the find text will be displayed with a checkbox next to each along with a checkbox for ALL. The user can select one, several or all records for the find and replace.

It does not work with Open Languages in Merchant 4x. If you are using Open Languages, the product descriptions are not stored in the Miva Merchant products database. They are stored in a separate database.
