Window Card

Window cards measure 14 inches wide by 22 inches high. They are printed on card stock. At the top of the card is a snipe area which was left blank. This allowed the local theater to print or hand write the upcoming play dates so that it could easily be seen. These were printed in large numbers as they were often spread around town, rather than just displayed at the theater. They are probably the most abused poster, as the common practice was to cut the top snipe area off, leaving a 14 X 18 inch card. Neatly printed theater and play dates actually provide historical significance to the poster.
