EXPORT PRODUCT FIELDS AND COMBINED CATEGORY CODES TO FLAT FILE

This MIVA Merchant module can be used to create a flat file of products and one or more corresponding category codes. The category codes are in a single field at the end of each product line. The product fields are separated with the pipe | character. In order to import back into Merchant from this specially constructed export file, you will need to make a single line change in the standard MIVA Merchant product import module.

By including the category codes in the exported file, you can edit that flat file directly and reimport the changed file and your products will be put into the appropriate categories.

Note: The limitation of this export is that it will not include uncategorized products. All products should be categorized.
