Read All Reviews Login and write a review Allow customers to place an order at your MIVA Merchant store and pay for it with a credit card by phoning in the credit card number. It requires that you have your own terminal or virtual terminal for processing the card.
Normally, this is used by customers who do not want to enter their credit card numbers at the computer they are on (work, library or other public computer).
Features: - Accept phone-in orders in your store - Restrict usage to specific customers - Restrict usage to a specific availability group - Optionally hide the phone-in order option from non-eligible customers - Configurable prompt and label - Configurable invoice message Feature Details: You can limit phone-in order usage by requiring that their Login ID be approved by the store owner BEFORE a phone-in order will be accepted. Hence, if they are not on the approved list of Login IDs, they will not even see the option to pay by phone-in order in the payment selection drop down list. Alternatively, you can configure the module in admin to function as a phone-in order module with no pre-approved list of customers. Hence, every customer would have the option to pay by phoning in the card details and would see it in the payment selection list. You have the ability to assign customers pre-approved to use a phone-in order to an availability group. The module can use the availability group designation to limit who has the option to use phone-in orders. This 3rd method of control eliminates the need to list every eligible Login ID; simply designate the group the eligible customers are assigned to. The payment selection label, phone-in order entry label and order edit label are configurable in admin. As example, instead of Phone-in Order as an entry in the payment selection drop down list, you could change it to read Phone in with credit card details or other applicable text. You can configure an invoice message that can be displayed if the phone-in order is the selected form of payment. Make sure you only fill orders after you have run order processing or batch report. The phone in payment order will complete like any other order. So you have to verify in order processing what the payment method is before you ship the product. If it is phone in, verify that they really phoned in.
