| Lobby Card (1) |
| Lobby Card | | Lobby cards measure 14 inches wide by 11 inches high. They are printed on card stock. The weight of the stock varies, with older films usually of heavier stock. Lobby cards usually come in sets of eight cards. Occasionally, there are nine cards in a set (particularly Disney sets), but sets vary from four to as many as twenty-four cards in a set. Many sets contain a title card plus seven scene cards. Title cards vary from simple printing of the title and cast to an image similar to the half sheet poster. Presently lobby cards are rarely issued in the US, so most cards related to newer releases come from the United Kingdom or other non-US locations. |

LC_00131 PRESIDENT'S ANALYST, THE 40.00 Very Good. Brilliant colors. Two minor scratches in the title section in the upper right. Lower left corner crease. None of these detract significantly from the image as you can see in the scan.
Coburn (Dr. Sidney Schaefer), with too many secrets in his head, hides out with the counter-culture. The hippy chick, Snow White, says the immortal line, "let's smell the flowers". At which point she and Coburn head off to the pasture to do it. In the background is the monotonous singing of "Changes" by the guitar player. A balloon rises from the pasture with Snow's dress attached. This coincides with the unforgetable scene where assassins kill each other off as they move closer and closer to the couple. As the camera zooms out, we see Coburn and the nude, hippy chick walking away with dead agents lying all over the field.
In addition to the lead up to one of this movie's most memorable scenes, this card is one of the most colorful lobby cards ever made.
