There are three product export modules in the CIM Tool Kit. These export modules create a flat file from your products database. The flat file also includes the category code for each product to make reimport into categories possible.

• exprdcat.mv exports one line for each product with one category code
• exprmcat.mv exports multiple lines for each product if the product is in more than one category
• exprccat.mv exports a single line for each product, but may have more than one category code on that line if the product is in more than one category

By including the category code in the exported file, you can edit that flat file directly and reimport the changed file and your products will be put into the appropriate categories.
